    GLOBAL PUTRA & HNA EXPAND THE BUSINESS

China Hainan Airlines Group (HNA Group) and Global Putra International Group (GPI Group) of Indonesia signed a general agreement on cooperation in logistics and tourism services including aviation, airport management, hotel management, financial service, freight forwarding, port construction, logistics park and etc.

The signing ceremony which is held on May 18 at Hotel Shangri-La in Jakarta was witnessed by Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Ms Zhang Qiyue, and Indonesian Minister of Communications, Mr. Djusman Syafii Djamal.

The President/CEO GPIG SUMADI KUSUMA said the co-operation will be strengthened in the signing of the master agreement the two companies.

"The Signing of this co-operation like the fiance who will be followed by the formation of the joint venture" he said after the press conference today. According to Sumadi, the two companies agreed to form the special team that will count the value of investment that will be invested in the joint venture.

The plan is, he explained HNA Group through the Subsidiary who was involved in the flight opening several direct flight routes to Indonesia. The routes are Shanghai-Jakarta, Beijing-Jakarta, Shanghai-Denpasar, Beijing-Denpasar, Shanghai-Yogyakarta and Beijing-Yogyakarta.

"Hopefully this year could be realized," said Sumadi. At this time, HNA Group operated 220 aircraft, managed 12 airports and had 50 hotels in China. HNA Group also had the efforts child of Grand China Logistics Holding Co. Ltd that moved in the sector of the logistics.
